Who we are
Project Empowerment is a five-year, NIDRR-funded grant with the purpose of identifying and evaluating current practice and methods in the area of minority disability research. We are entering our fifth year of the grant and will continue our efforts to effectively advance the capacity of this research area. Over the past four years we have conducted three major studies, accomplished all of our major objectives, held a national State of the Science conference, hosted numerous Research Days and Think Tanks, mentored minority professionals and students, and produced several topic sheets, newsletters, and webcasts. Please explore our website to find out more about what we have done and who we are.
