Resources
All project findings and technical assistance strategies will be disseminated for knowledge transfer, utilization and high impact to end users. Project resources will include:
- Convening a Think Tank Summit in Year 1 that will become an ongoing Minority Disability Research Consortium.
- Maintaining an interactive website with a Minority Research Trends database.
- Mentoring minority students and faculty members.
- Infusing minority disability research best practices into research courses.
- Teaching grant writing and publishing skills.
- Conducting a State-of-the-Science Conference.
- Producing fact sheets, webcasts, DVDs of webcasts, and audio recordings of research discussions and roundtables.
- Developing a Handbook on Minority Disability Research based on proceedings from the conference and the results from the three major studies.
